Must de Cartier Tank watch. Silver with classic blue crown. Unisex. Purchased in the 1990s. Has 2020 working battery.
This green strap was added at Cartier in 2000 (see receipt photo).
Note: The strap has discoloration from wear as shown in the pics - this watch was once worn regularly (and very much loved)! There are some light scratches on the case and glass, which can be seen in the closeup pics.
The Tank watch was created by Louis Cartier, who designed it after the tanks of WWI battlefields. Defined by flat vertical brancards and a sapphire cabochon, it is a symbol of understated elegance.
